Kombaki Arts Studio was established on August 30, 2017, as a non-commercial development center focused on fostering young people in the fields of dance and music. The studio's primary goal is to train and nurture the younger generation to express their artistic potential to the fullest.
Since its founding, Kombaki Arts Studio has undergone various improvements in its management system to create a more organized and effective structure. With a continuously growing membership, the studio actively participates in various social and cultural events, where the enthusiasm of young people is strongly felt in its activities.
Kombaki Arts Studio has successfully produced talented young artists skilled in traditional dance and regional music, especially those related to Papua's cultural heritage. Many of them have joined modern and commercial studios, proving the superior quality of the training at Kombaki Arts Studio.
As a non-commercial organization, the studio is committed to providing ample opportunities for more young people to develop their artistic potential. However, challenges in funding and facility improvements remain obstacles. Therefore, the studio hopes for attention and support from various parties to continue preserving and promoting Papua’s cultural arts on national and international stages.
